Sycamore Tree Memory (Print)

Sycamore Tree Memory, was inspired by images of the tree of life. As a child, my maternal grandparents owned a giant sycamore tree in the countryside of West Virginia. I have many fond memories of the tree that once gleamed on top of the hill. In the fall, my two younger brothers and I would play in its huge piles of leaves. The tree was climbed by us all, and we cherished our tire swing that used to hang from the branches. We also buried some of our beloved late pets under this tree. The tree grew so big until it was finally demolished in the early winter 2017. This piece is my tribute to my early memories of this sentimental tree.
